Hi, I’m Claire, Founder of Wurkplace Wellbeing

My passion for health and wellbeing started nearly 15 years ago when I was working as a HR professional within large corporations.

During this time I saw how powerful supporting employee wellbeing could be for corporate success. Sadly, I also saw many instances where this was neglected or treated as a box ticking exercise. Leading to detrimental impacts on the mental and physical wellbeing of employees and their levels of productivity.

This, coupled with my own challenging experience of poor workplace support when I experienced an ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage and early menopause, opened my eyes to other health and wellbeing concerns people were not talking about openly, nor receiving the right support for, in the workplace.

This spurred me on to complete the following:

Mental Health First Aid England Instructor Programme

NEBOSH certificate in the Management of Health and Wellbeing at Work.

 

After which, I set up Wurkplace Wellbeing and carefully crafted a small team of experts with a wealth of experience supporting the different areas of health and wellbeing.  

Together, we’re on a mission to make workplace wellbeing everyone's priority, by making it easier for organisations to educate and support their people.
